Since some of you will be escaping the cold and heading on warm holidays this winter, we thought it would be fitting to share some sustainable travel articles and tips.
HOW TO PACK CONSCIOUSLY
Avoid buying minis: fill small containers (that you continuously reuse) with shampoo, conditioner, etc.
Wrap your soap bar in beeswax wrap
Clothing + Shoes
Sarongs can double as towels/blankets.
Long cardigans can double as dresses paired with a belt.
Choose tops and bottoms that all work together.
Think twice about packing shoes that aren't the most comfortable. Will you really wear them?
BE SUSTAINABLE THROUGHOUT YOUR TRIP
Here are some items we have in the shop (some are online too!) that will make your trip more eco-friendly:
Planning on getting coffee or tea on-the-go? Make sure to pack your Joco Cup.
Don't forget your reusable water bottle! But also make sure you're filling it with safe drinking water.
Bring a small backpack and 1-2 reusable bags - for shopping, carrying around your stuff.
Forget big chains- support local restaurants and entrepreneurs.
Reuse the hotel towels more than once.
